Test and certification standard of Zhongwo BS steel fire doors are BS476-22:1987 and EN1634-1:2008. Fire rating of our doors can be FD30, FD60, FD90 and up to 120 mins.

Structure Description
Zhongwo BS steel fire doors consist of steel door leaves and steel frames. Door leaf structure can be split into 43mm thick magnesium oxide fire door core board, 5mm thick fireproof board and 0.8mm galvanized steel face sheets on both sides. Between fireproof board and fire door core board we brush fireproof glues, so does it between door core board and gal. Steel sheet. Thickness of door leaf is 55mm. Moreover there is also one astragal made from 0.8mm gal. Steel to cover the gap between door leaf and door frame. On the inside of astragal we also paste smoke intumescent to prevent spread of smoke and flame. The size of astragal is 25X2mm on the active leaf and 40X10mm on the inactive leaf of double doors.
Door frame is knock-down frame made of 1.2mm thick galvanized steel sheet. The frame by us is divided into 4 parts for standard doors, but for fire exit doors only into 3 parts without bottom thresholds. Frame depth is about 105mm. And the frame is normally installed in masonry wall. In order to keep its decoration performance we weld lock covers on the lock side of frame which makes the whole doorsets more beautiful and harmonious.
Besides, we weld 3mm thick gal. Steel plate as reinforcement and stiffener on hinges, locks, bolts and closer sides inside of both door leaf and frame. We also equip connectors with knock-down frame to ensure the stability and sturdy performance of frames. Connectors will be made of 0.8mm gal. Steel sheet.
Vision Panels
We manufacture also BS steel fire doors with vision panels. All of vision panels are made from heat insulated fireproof glass. As standard the size of vision panels by us is 203.2 X 608.6 X 32mm. To make sure the vision panel can be installed in the door leaf firmly, we add one steel skeleton specially around the vision holes which is made from 1.5mm thick gal. Steel sheet. As glass strip we use 0.8mm thick gal. Steel sheet.

Standard Package:
Door Leaf: one layer perlite cotton + one or two layers strong carton + foam board around 4 edges.
Door Frame: Band them together with tapes, cover around them with perlite cotton, protect them inside foam boards and at last load them into strong cartons.
Options:
We also make wooden pallet for you to pack the doors and frames with more security. But this may mean more package fees than standard choice.
Delivery
